Hazzerta Checkpoint was controlled by multiple parties during the war. the Fida'is, Amal movement, and finally by the Syrian Armed forces after 1976, especially in 1979 when Zehlawis tried to smuggle weapons. Multiple case of disappearance were reported on this Checkpoint during the war.
