Alec Collett, UK journalist working with UNRWA was kidnapped on 26 March 1985 in Khaldeh by the Revolutionary Organization of Socialist Muslims. He was reportedly murdered by hanging on 17 April 1986. His remains were found, and confirmed after DNA test results, 25 years later in 2009 in Aita el Fokhar, Bekaa
