On that day the Syrian army attacked on the line of Gallery Semaan – Academy of Science – Dahr el Wahesh.We still have army men missing till this day, officers and soldiers. but before that, the army was drained by internal conflicts. Until we reached the 13th October 1990 the Lebanese army was exhausted: No will power, not enough army men (the brigade that had 80 soldiers was reduced to only 20 soldiers) and they didn’t have an overall plan to defend themselves in case they were attacked by the Syrian army. on that day, the army men that surrendered were executed directly some managed to protect themselves in order to escape.
