Massacre

During six days, clashes ensue because of the shooting that took place on 17 and 20 August 1980, killing 17 and injuring 60 people, extending to Qobbe and parts of the Old City. It also involves the assassination of two Lebanese Armed Forces officers as well as of Hassan Abderahman (the brother of Abdelrahman Abdelrahman who is the leader of the Syrian branch of the Baath party in Tripoli) alongside his personal driver.
