Massacre

Violent clashes ensue the attempt by the Tawhid faction in bab al-Tebbaneh (the former partisans of Akkawi) to takeover the neighbourhood's Harba mosque from Syrian troops and to expel Syrian troops from the neighbourhood. The clashes result in the faction taking over the neighbourhood briefly, causing 30 deaths and 60 injuries in the ranks of the Syrian army and of the fighters.
